The Gustav Stickley House is the 2018 recipient of the Harley J. McKee Award from the Preservation Association of Central New York (PACNY). The award, was presented on Wednesday, October 17th at the Erie Canal Museum, in recognition of the Phase One Restoration project completed this past summer. The Harley J. McKee Award is given in recognition of excellence in the promotion and application of appropriate preservation technology and fine craftsmanship. David Rudd, President of the Gustav Stickley House Foundation, David S. Michel, project coordinator representing the University Neighborhood Preservation Association (UNPA) and Beth Crawford of Crawford & Stearns Architects & Preservation Planners accepted the award on behalf of the project. It was a wonderful event and we were so very proud to be in the company of so many other deserving projects and individuals.
