The 38th National Arts & Crafts Conference and Shows is just around the corner. The conference, February 21 – 23, will once again take place at the historic Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC. The annual conference brings together scholars, collectors, artisans and Arts & Crafts enthusiasts for what is considered the most important gathering of the year. There are demonstrations, lectures, group discussions, walking tours, theatrical presentations, as well as the antiques and contemporary crafts shows and book sales. This year’s conference is particularly poignant given the horrific flooding from Hurricane Helene that occurred last fall. Parts of Asheville were devastated and there was question whether the conference could go on. But Asheville is resilient, and both the town and the hotel welcomes conference goers and visitors alike.
The Gustav Stickley House Foundation will staff an information table and share updates on the restoration progress. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Please stop by and spend a little time with us. For more information on the conference click HERE
