The Greater Syracuse Land Bank has taken ownership of the Gustav Stickley House during Phase II Restoration. The University Neighborhood Association (UNPA) passed ownership of the property following the conclusion of Phase I Restoration.  UNPA had held the property in trust, having accepted the building’s ownership from L & JG Stickley and the Audi Family, to oversee the restoration of the building’s exterior and to accept the two major NY State Grants for the phase. Phase II Restoration will complete the interior of the house, creating a unique historic house museum and guest suite combination. The Greater Syracuse Land Bank is a 501 (C)(3) organization and as such, is eligible to pursue eligible grant funding. Following completion of the restoration project, the property ownership and operation will pass to the Onondaga Historical Association who will operate the property as part of its educational mission.
