We are so happy to announce Matthew Chadderdon’s election to our Board of Directors. Matt, previously served the foundation as a consultant with BlueWater Strategic Communications and helped launch the Capital Campaign for Phase Two. Matt is Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President at SUNY Upstate Medical University, a position he accepted in 2024. Previously he served as Vice President for marketing, communications and government relations at Auburn Community Hospital when he helped raise millions in state and federal funds.
Matt has decades of experience and accomplishment in many areas, including communications, government relations, strategy development, brand management and community relations. Previously he help key leadership roles in public affairs with Auburn Community Hospital, Welch Allyn Inc., and UTC/Carrier Corp. Matt has served on a number of Community Boards including Crouse Foundation, Rosamond Gifford Zoo, E. John Gavras Center and the Boy Scouts Dinner Committee.
He holds a Masters in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School and a Bachelor’s State University College of New York at Buffalo. He is also an avid sports fan. We are grateful for Matt’s previous efforts to secure funding for the restoration project and are so thrilled to have him back in the fold. Welcome Matt!
