Two members of our board also stepped down: Matt Chadderdon and Richard Driscoll. Matt began with us as a consultant in 2019 with his company, BlueWater Strategic Communications. He helped develop our initial capital campaign and guide our fundraising strategy. He eventually joined our board. Last year Matt became Chief of Staff at SUNY Upstate Medical University. We thank Matt and wish him great success in this role. Richard was an inaugural member of the Foundation board and served as Treasurer for nine years. He has been integral in the development of our financial stability and we are so very grateful for all his expertise and counsel along the way. They will both be missed but we thank them for their service and commitment to the Gustav Stickley House Foundation.
