At the Annual Meeting of the Gustav Stickley Hosue Foundation, two new members were elected to the board. Kate Auwaerter joins as an ex-officio member representing the Office of Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh. Kate has been involved in preservation, planning and nonprofits for over 25 years. Earlier this year she was appointed to the position of Preservation Planner in the newly established Office of Zoning Administration. She has been a strong supporter of the Stickley project and we are thrilled she has joined us.
We are so happy to welcome back Dr. Cynthia McGinn, an avid promoter of the American Arts & Crafts Movement and a Gustav Stickley descendant. Cynthia, a retired emergency medicine physician, previously served on our board and she serves on the board of the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms. She lives in Wellesley, MA.
We welcome both and look forward to their contributions.
