Since 1945, the Onondaga Historical Association Medal Award has recognized distinguished contributions to the cause of preserving and interpreting Onondaga County history. It is the highest honor bestowed to an individual or organization. The recipients will be feted at a breakfast on May 23rd.  The 2024 Medal honorees are Dave Rudd and Debbie Goldwein of Dalton’s American Decorative Arts, Honor Flight Syracuse, and Syracuse City School District.

David Rudd is the sitting President of the Gustav Stickley House Foundation and for a time owned the Stickley House in the early 1990s. Debbie has been a strong support of the American Arts & Crafts Movement and has served on the Board of the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms. They have both been involved with the Arts & Crafts Society of Central New York

The 2024 OHA Medal Breakfast Ceremony will take place on May 23rd from 8am-9:30am at the Syracuse Marriott Downtown.
