In recent months, The Gustav Stickley House Foundation has had the opportunity to tour several great-grandchildren of Gustav Stickley through the Columbus Ave house prior to the beginning of restoration. In August, Charles “Skip” Nitchie and his family visited from Oregon following our inaugural summer fundraiser. In November 2016, Chris Wiles of Syracuse visited as did Rochester, NY based siblings Scott Fields and Tina Jarvis. In January Peter Wiles and Richard Wiles of Central New York participated in a group tour of the house along with Barbara Fuldner of Wisconsin. The tours was presented by Beth Crawford, senior associate from Crawford and Stearns and project lead, for the first phase or restoration. We appreciate the support and continued interest of all the family and were delighted to show them first-hand the plans for the future of this important house.
